His extensive tenure of 17 years with Toyota JVs, including a year of intensive training at various Toyota Motor Corporation plants in Japan, culminated in his receipt of the prestigious "Diploma in Quality Control."
Sohan played a pivotal role in the complete implementation of the Toyota Production System at the Toyota Kirloskar Motors Plant in Bangalore. Notably, he spearheaded the successful implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) at Mahindra Swaraj Plants in Punjab.
Sohan's professional journey has seen him ascend to senior roles, attaining positions up to the level of VP, COO, and President. Throughout his tenure, he consistently drove significant enhancements in Safety, Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Employee Morale, propelling organizations beyond their business objectives. He possesses a proven track record of establishing four Greenfield Automotive Plants within planned timelines and budget, elevating operational activities to achieve organizational goals.
